Luna Guesthouse 露娜旅馆

I didn’t expect a bad facility at Luna Guesthouse. The room’s size and condition were not like the pictures. I don’t recommend this guesthouse to anyone. Despite the space and condition, the bathroom drain was clogged. I reported it to the receptionist, who offered to change rooms. We accepted because no staff were available to fix the drain, only a receptionist was present. We were already exhausted from the long journey and had to carry all our belongings again to move to another room. The next day, a bulb blew out and wasn’t working. We had to rely on just one lamp and a bedside lamp. The receptionist said staff would come the next day to replace the bulb. I won’t book this guesthouse again and would not recommend it to anyone.

The service quality is good, the value for money and location are decent. The owner and staff are friendly, and the owner can drop off guests for free when he goes to town. The hygiene was poor; on the first day, a long worm was in the bathroom. The toilet seat didn’t stay up, so it would hit you when you sat down. The bedding was washed but still had stains.

“Recommended for semporna stay”

The location is great (just 2‑3 minutes from the jetty) and the house sits right on the road’s shoulder. Parking is ample. The room is large, clean, and cozy. There’s a kitchen to cook in and a water dispenser. The sink in the room is clogged, so water takes a while to drain, and because rooms are close together, you can hear people talking in the hallway. Other than that, everything is fine.
