The brand‑new pension feels ultra‑modern and my room was spot‑on. Breakfast was healthy, tasty and clearly made with love, and the sauna was a nice extra after a day on the slopes. Best part? The ski lifts in Saalbach are just a short walk away.

The place is really nicely decorated and spotless – you can tell they thought of everything. Getting to the ski lift takes a bit of figuring out, but there are several routes within walking distance, so it’s not a huge hassle.

Evy and Ludwig have turned their own pension into a genuinely loved spot – fresh, stylish and full of little design touches, from the mountain‑view breakfast on the top floor (complete with a booklet explaining each local product) to the cozy, modern rooms with super comfy beds. The sauna with its windows and the tiny wellness area felt like a bonus, and the breakfast spread catered to gluten‑free, dairy‑free and other needs, with homemade teas and bread baked by Ludwig himself.
