The rooms are fantastic, the beds are just okay, showers work well, the TV is functional, lamps are perfect. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The location is a bit out of Edinburgh and there’s not much around, so you’ll need plenty of Uber rides.

“Not what we were expecting- disappointing”

The room had all the gear you’d expect, but the self‑check‑in via key box left us without anyone to greet us—neither owners nor other guests. We couldn’t leave feedback at the property. Though it had a TV, tea/coffee, etc., the beds were very uncomfortable, the bedding was far past its prime, the base sheets didn’t fit, and we didn’t see mattress protectors. Pillows were wafer‑thin, making for a very uncomfortable night. The property sits directly off the main A90 into the city, so traffic noise was loud, even though earplugs were supplied. In the morning the traffic volume made it impossible to turn right toward the hospital where we had an appointment; the left turn tripled the travel time and ruined the idea of staying nearby for an early start. Overall disappointing.

The location was perfect for what we had planned, but it was hot in the room—though it was summer!

Pleasant hosts, always available, comfortable beds. I would say it was comfortable compared to other places where I’ve stayed. Unfortunately, we couldn't check in early, though the hosts had warned us about this. There was a lot of noise coming through the window, as the accommodation is located right next to a busy road. The shower holder was broken, making it rather uncomfortable to shower
