The quiet, comfortable mattresses, and the beauty of the house and its surroundings were great. The manager’s lack of professionalism was a problem. We had major issues with the pool upon arrival: it wasn’t cleaned properly, the pump wasn’t working, and the water had turned green. Since we rented the villa (expensive) for the pool, it was a huge disappointment that we couldn’t swim the first few days. Technicians had to perform a drastic cleaning after we requested it, as shown in the before‑and‑after photos. There was no reliable Wi‑Fi, frequent power outages, and although there were four bathrooms, there was barely enough water for a shower. The area is too dry for such a setup, something we didn’t know. The kitchen wasn’t cleaned properly—there was grease everywhere—and the pots and pans were all worn out.
