The young man at reception on the 15th night was very friendly and helpful, even offering to carry my 75‑year‑old mother’s luggage up.

The location works well and the room price was very economical, plus breakfast was great. However, the staff seemed unhappy and uncooperative; early check‑in was only possible after a suggestion from Belle Blue and the room wasn’t ready on time. There was no proper waiting area, even the dining hall lacked seating. The room itself was filthy—bed sheets had dirty marks, mosquitoes buzzed around, a spider was killed in the washroom, bath towels were wet and supplied on demand, some had torn ends with loose threads, and one even had a hole. The space was cramped, offering only a single chair beside the bed. This was my worst stay experience so far; I requested an extension but it wasn’t granted, and no water was provided in the room.

The room was spacious and the location was fine, but it wasn’t clean, the kitchen floor was extremely sticky, the shower water was scalding – be careful! One bed wasn’t set up and we had to bring our own bedding, my husband had to adjust the doors, which left scuffs on the floor, the bathroom fixtures were worn, and the kitchen sink could use a thorough clean.
