The hotel is advertised as a 5‑star property, but in reality it doesn't meet that standard at all. Aside from a beautiful lobby, nothing else justified the rating, and the price we paid made the gap between expectation and reality even more glaring— it was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our three‑week trip to Japan. Breakfast was a let‑down: the buffet was all Western, a warning sign given the almost absent Japanese guests, and very limited. They tried to make up for it with fresh orange juice and three table‑ordered dishes, but those were not good either. Another key issue: the room we initially received was noisy because of passing trains, and the view was of a building right next to ours, so we didn't even want to open the curtains. The receptionist was the only person we met in Japan who was not friendly. After we insisted, they moved us to a quieter room facing a better direction, but there is still a real chance of ending up with a noisy, unpleasant room, which is especially disappointing at this price. Bottom line: don't.

The place is very well located for visiting the different areas of Tokyo, the staff are very friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. There was nothing that bothered me.

Everything was good, good. The staff were helpful and the bathroom was fantastic. I tried to get a guide from the tourist information but they couldn't help; it felt more like a business hotel.
