The location, kitchen facilities, and view from the window over the estuary were great. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as it could have been; long hair was still on the sink and floor, and the shower drain seemed blocked.

The location, interiors, layout, view, outdoor space, and off‑street parking were all positive. The TV connection was a bit patchy.

We stayed six nights and had plenty of space for that duration – I liked that it’s right on the water at high tide, a very peaceful spot at night. The value for money was very good.

The place is absolutely stunning, quiet and tucked away, yet still very convenient for everything Auckland offers. What a hidden gem! I wish I could have stayed longer.

“Really enjoyed our stay in a great location. Enjoyed watching the scenery change with the tide.”

The spot’s view is lovely, and the room feels roomy and homely; the hostess was very friendly. My husband couldn’t shower because the shower is quite high off the ground, so it isn’t really suitable for anyone with reduced mobility.
