Central location, room and bathroom are new and clean. The building itself is dilapidated with foul‑smelling stairs.

The spot was spot‑on, but the rooms were plain—just a place to soak up the great surroundings, not a luxury pad. The room carried a nasty sewer smell that was awful. We stayed in all four rooms, so the complex felt like ours for the six of us. No elevator, so we had to climb stairs to the rooms, but it wasn't too hard. Carlo, the owner, made our time in Ortigia unforgettable. We fell in love with Ortigia.
The location, availability and calmness are good, even though it’s in a central spot. The room is a bit small.
