The staff were friendly, the location was good, and the food was tasty. The breakfast room and restaurant were nice, but the lovely beer garden was closed because of the season. The old house architecture means there are many stairs, which adds charm but can be quite a challenge when lugging a heavy suitcase. The breakfast is standard and good, yet it could be better; the house could offer much more thanks to its good kitchen.
