“Would not recommend”

Someone tried to break into a car outside late at night. At 5 am the next morning, a lorry delivered a container right outside my window, with loud beeping and many thuds and bangs from the container. Breakfast was cramped, and I had to share the space with a stranger.

“a very friendly atmosphere, with excellent facilities”

Overall, an excellent motel to stay, with close proximity to the main centre of town. There was nothing I didn’t like.

“Overpriced like most hotels in Ireland”

The staff were all very nice and pleasant, and the food in the bar was actually quite good (burger) and the biscuits with the tea machine in the room are very nice. This hotel is very tired and in need of an upgrade. The rate for the room night didn’t include breakfast, and while I have no issue with this as I chose it, I would expect much better for the rate charged. The TV didn’t work, and the bathroom with a shower in the bath is poor. The bath is so narrow it is tough to have a shower without constantly banging into things. The bar is just not somewhere I would want to sit a long time. It’s cold, full of hard chairs and just has an air of a canteen. The staff were all very nice and pleasant, and the food in the bar was actually quite good (burger) and the biscuits with the tea machine in the room are very nice.
