The owners welcomed us warmly, and our bikes could be parked free in the secure lot; we chose to dine there and it turned out to be a smart move, with the chef serving amazing dishes and the view of Lac Du Bourget being phenomenal.

The pool and the view were positives, yet the parking was tight and confusing, the room creaked and faced a busy intersection, there was no air conditioning, a bad smell of old meat lingered, the room felt too small, and the breakfast felt industrial even in the mountains—quite disappointing; it might work for a single night or a last‑minute stay, but nothing more.

The room faced the road so it wasn’t very quiet, we couldn’t sleep with the window open even though it was hot, but the breakfast was fine; the bathroom was a bit small.
