The Umahdawa Ubud

The accommodation is really top quality; Ayu takes care of everything, and renting a good scooter at a fair price was easy. Breakfast can be chosen on the terrace at the requested time. The air‑conditioning was somewhat loud at night, but we simply turned it off and didn’t need it. We’ll definitely return, and Ubud city isn’t as great as it used to be for sleeping.

I had a wonderful stay here during my visit to Bali. I arrived very late at night, but arranging the airport transfer was absolutely no problem. Ayu and her husband personally came to pick me up, which I really appreciated and which made me feel very welcome from the beginning. During my stay, they were always kind, friendly and happy to help with anything I needed, even the little things. Every day they asked me if I wanted my room cleaned and what I would like for breakfast, so I could choose what I preferred each morning. And the breakfast… honestly, I have no words! Every morning I had an amazing breakfast, beautifully prepared with so much care. The food was delicious and definitely one of the highlights of my stay. But most of all, what I will remember is the kindness and warmth of this wonderful family. I truly felt welcomed and at home. I would happily stay here again and I highly recommend it! ❤️

I absolutely loved Umadawah in every way, especially the staff—shoutout to Ayu for being so caring, mindful, and considerate! I’d recommend it to anyone. The only thing I didn’t love was the 15‑20 minute ride to the main city centre.

The breakfast was great, but the constant crowing of roosters and barking dogs all night made it hard to relax, even though the place is remote. The staff were very friendly otherwise.
