I was blown away by the respect shown by Mr. Nouredine, his mother, and his uncle; they quickly arranged everything a tourist might need, and I’m deeply grateful. The location is super close to the beach, the health center, and the bus stop.

The staff were incredibly attentive, offering great local tips and going out of their way to help. The setting is a paradise right next to the beach in a welcoming neighborhood.

The stay was excellent, and I met a lovely family who gave me the best advice.

The owner was very available, arriving at 2 a.m. and staying in touch so his mother could hand me the keys, which was the only good part of the accommodation. The place was filthy: the sheets were missing, and I couldn’t tell how long the smelly sheets and pillowcases had been there; I had to improvise pillowcases with my t‑shirts. Knowing I’d be arriving with my 8‑year‑old daughter, the owner didn’t bother to change the sheets or pillowcases. The bathroom was dirty and lacked toilet paper, the room was dusty, the terrace was filthy, and breakfast consisted of leftovers from the previous day. It was the worst place I’ve stayed in Morocco.
