I stayed in a cabin inside a campground, surrounded by lush nature that soothed me, and I enjoyed the starry sky and glowworms. All facilities were provided just right, and the nearby Kauri forest was also excellent. No complaints.

The location is excellent, just minutes from Trounson Kauri Park. The accommodation is surrounded by forest, with a river nearby, in a very quiet and pleasant setting. The room was comfortable, the bed superb, the shower worked well and the kitchenware was complete. A perfect spot, but there was no mobile data coverage or Wi‑Fi.

Beautiful spot, surrounded by nature, clean and tidy. Prices were fair, staff were great. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was there.

Good spot for the Kauri forests, but not very clean – dusty and full of dead insects. It might have been cleaned after a period of vacancy, but I would have expected a quick wipe‑down before we arrived.
