The hotel sits in a lovely spot, and the beds in our room were comfy with a great window view. We enjoyed a pleasant walk around the grounds, but because our schedule was tight we didn't use the hotel facilities. The bathroom was functional yet very dated, and we felt the room price should have included breakfast.

The old part of the hotel where the lobby and bar lounge reside is beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant food for both breakfast and dinner was top notch. The spa was really not up to much. Although the pool was good the sauna, steam room and whirlpool were tiny and uninviting. They felt like an add on for the few spouses joining their partners for golf. They did not provide robes or slippers for guests meaning your 5-10 minute hike to the spa from your room had to be done in clothes
