“Very pleasant atmosphere”
The spot is spot on and the staff were top‑class, but everything felt pricey.

The location was fantastic in a beautiful historic hotel. The restaurant was great and overall service was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our third stay at the Prince of Wales. Our mattress and pillows were past their expiry date. There was also a lack of attention to detail – for example the shower gel was empty and not refilled for either night, and there was a little dust in the corners.

This hotel experience was amazing and I’ll definitely return. The hotel had everything we needed and more! We did have to wait a bit long for teatime, but what a cool experience.

The hotel looked very upscale and stayed in great shape, so it never seemed worn out even though it’s old; I felt like a minor royalty there. We dined at one of the on‑site restaurants and grabbed drinks at the bar, and every staff member was polite, helpful, and accommodating. The location is amazing for NOTL.

The location is great, but a premium price was charged due to a booking error.
