Siayanrock Hometel

We enjoyed the hotel a lot; being in the lean season meant we had the whole place to ourselves, which made it even more special. The hotel was spotless, the air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the TV offered Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. Tita Ofel and Tito Robert looked after us wonderfully, giving thorough tours of Batanes, meeting many warm locals, and arranging a memorable stargazing session on their private deck. There were no complaints; the hotel itself was fantastic, and Ivana’s safety made us feel secure even at night. We also liked spending time at the hotel, especially with all our favorite streaming apps on the TV.

Staying at Siayanrock Hometel was truly heartwarming. Ate Ofel and Kuya Robert go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and cared for. The room has a private balcony overlooking the sea—ideal for night stargazing or just relaxing and enjoying the view. The beach is a short walk away, and you can hear the soothing waves from the room. It was clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning plus a hot and cold shower. Guests can also brew complimentary coffee in the shared kitchen. If you want to escape crowds and experience Batanes’ peaceful charm, warmth, and beauty, I highly recommend this place; Siayanrock Hometel offers more than a stay—it’s a genuine Batanes experience.
