For those who love nature and are curious about coffee cultivation, this place is perfect; the couple Joaquin and Terezinha were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home—thanks a lot.

Stayed on a coffee farm a few kilometers from Ubajara. The owners, Dona Teresinha and her husband, were super friendly and took care of us right away. The place is surrounded by trees, but our room had a musty smell—since we’re allergic we asked for a swap and they handled it instantly. The farm’s coffee was amazing, served with fruit and cake, and the balcony had hammocks where we could unwind in the cool mountain air.

With a bunch of kids, we had an awesome stay—everything was comfortable, safe, and the owners, Dona Teresinha and Sr. Joaquim, made us feel right at home.

The Engenho Velho farm is a real rural getaway. Walking through the coffee plantations is charming, learning about the farm’s history and coffee culture. The owners, Seu Joaquim and Dona Teresinha, are simple, attentive, welcoming, making everyone feel at home. Pets are allowed, too. It was unforgettable, full of good chats, learning, and nature. I recommend it wholeheartedly for anyone seeking authentic rural tranquility.
