The place was spacious, spotless, and quiet, with lovely views, and there were no complaints at all.

The location was spot on, the ambience and comfort were perfect, breakfast was exceptional and cooked to perfection, and the woodland walk was just the right length for us; we couldn't find anything to improve on our visit.

It went beyond our expectations, though we wouldn't recommend it to others; the history and craftsmanship are clearly evident, the power stone is worth stepping on, and getting lost in the woods is a joy; so many stories have unfolded here. Stefan is the most wonderful host and has a wealth of knowledge from his direct involvement in the restoration—thank you.

This property is incredible, full of character and history while remaining peaceful; it’s a perfect place to relax, and the bedroom, lounge areas, and bathrooms are all stunning.
