The location was excellent, with plenty of plants and tasty food. The pool and jacuzzi were dirty, which is unacceptable for the price of the hotel.

The hotel is very pretty and the staff offers the best service; they greet you at the train station and then carry your luggage, which is very convenient. I found the checkout at 10 am to be too early.

I loved the facilities, especially the fact that the hotel sits right in a tea plantation. That gives it a unique feel.

The property is very nice and jungle‑like, with small houses scattered around. The staff are friendly and helpful, and dinner was fine with an attentive server at both dinner and lunch. The setting is in nature, but the staff left the windows open in our room, so a huge spider landed on the curtain and it took a while for someone to remove it – better insect control would help. The hot springs and pools sounded good but were poorly maintained and always a bit dirty, so we avoided them. Being in nature is great, but I expected more from a 5‑star property.

The jungle location offers peace and quiet. I felt the CRM wasn’t great – it kept getting the booking details wrong.
