Very clean, but the Tammy mats are very uncomfortable.
“The hotel staff are very friendly, and the facilities are clean and modern.”
The facility is fully equipped, including a drying room and a ski gear storage area, which is very convenient for travelers who want to skiing :) The downside is that although it is close to the ski resort, there is an uphill walk of about 5 to 10 mins along the way, which can be a bit tiring for people who are already wearing their gear. It would be even better if there were a short-distance shuttle service!
“A comfortable stay, good value.”
Location was good, breakfast was nice, onsen is decent, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Travelers with heavy luggage or elderlies may find challenging with the stairs
“Spacious room and convenient location.”
The staff were very kind and helpful. They did not speak too much English but had a translator to help with complicated questions. We had arrived a little earlier but due to our room being ready, they let us check in early which was very much appreciated! :) The room we had was very spacious, with a desk and chair and couch. The heating was high quality that we did not need to use it much, even in the snow season. Shower has good water pressure. The location was convenient, with only a short 5 minute walk to the Gondala. The room to keep our snowboards and equipment was huge! There were plenty of spaces for storage, a couple benches for adjusting bindings with screw drivers, and even a huge storage space with lockers if needed. Also a toilet which was convenient being downstairs. The pillows were very uncomfortable. By the end of our stay, being 3 nights, I had a stiff and sore neck due to the pressure of the pillows. If we were to stay longer, I would have requested for a different pillow. We had the breakfast buffet for 2 mornings but the food was cold. The selections of food was a wide range but coming to breakfast 45mins after opening on the first day and then 30minutes after opening on the second day the temperature of the food did not improve. All food was kept in heat trays but they did not seem to work very well so all the food we had was at a cold/Luke warm temperature. We did not end up eating much food because of this but we didn't want to seem ungrateful and say something as others were eating the food as well
The breakfast was incredible, one of my favourite meals in Tokyo! Such a diverse and delicious spread, with great vegetarian options too
