“Bra boende i lugn omgivning”

A quiet area in a small countryside town, with decent bus frequency. The rooms were clean and fresh, and a small local “service shop” is nearby. It was missing a sidewalk or walking path all the way down to the bus stops, and you might need to book a table if you want to eat on site. The food quality didn’t quite match the restaurant’s prices; I ate better for less on other days of the week.

“A lovely location in the countryside with excellent food and beer”

We knew what to expect, and the arrival was unusual because it was a self‑service check‑in, likely due to a small staff. The main building housed dining and breakfast, where the food was excellent and plentiful. Our separate building was very modern, well‑furnished, and the rooms were warm. We would have preferred larger pillows than the ones typical in Germany. The surrounding countryside is very pretty, with plenty of walks through meadows and forests. We walked 4 km to Klostier Andechs, which was a great walk with plenty of beer and food to refresh us once we got there! You need to book a spot for dining because it gets very busy in the evenings, as it’s a popular spot for locals and visitors. Larger pillows would be nice.
