The only bright spot was the first‑line location, provided you check into the main building; the Teodoro building in the same hotel (priced the same) is on the second line via a service road. The price‑to‑quality ratio was terrible. After staying at the higher‑level hotel in the same area, I was disappointed by almost everything: the food quality was mediocre, often spoiled—meat overcooked or too salty, fish dried out; there was a deception at check‑in (talking with other guests revealed a rule that you’re usually assigned a room in block four next to the overflow, and after long disputes you’re finally assigned a room a couple of days later); housekeeping was rare and at inconvenient times; there was no entertainment; imported alcohol was only available in one bar and ran out quickly; and most importantly, the staff were extremely relaxed, lazy, and unmotivated. Management was unreachable, no one from the top was seen, so “the mice are dancing” and they’re as lazy as they can be. Or they start cheating and making money off you at the expense of your comfort. We’ve vacationed in Turkey for over 20 years and this is the first time we’ve encountered such chaos. For the price you can definitely find something better.
