We were upgraded to an amazing room because of a mix‑up in availability, and the breakfast buffet was quite generous. The buildings and complex are spectacular; they’re being renovated gradually, yet you can still see the original parts and feel the decaying atmosphere. The bathtub stopper didn’t work, and there’s no spa—only a few physiotherapy and personal care services that must be paid separately.

For the managers of this place—please keep every tiny detail in its original state. Renovation is great if it preserves those original touches. Thank you! Everything else was excellent.

The former Soviet military boarding house is very beautiful and restored; it feels very atmospheric, with a decent Swedish‑style dinner and breakfast. The rooms are spacious, and the staff are pleasant and polite. The taxi we arrived in wouldn’t let us in; the entrance is gated, so we had to carry luggage for several hundred meters. There’s no evening lighting in the room—just the general light.

You can do urban exploration inside the hotel itself. However, the generators make it impossible to sleep.

Guests who stay here can explore the entire complex, including the part that’s a “Lost Place.” The park is especially lovely, but the rooms feel a bit musty.
