The apartment came with a working stove and fridge, warm blankets and a hot shower, plus a bathroom mirror and handy shelves for my stuff. I assumed the kitchen tap would be filtered, but coming from Rio I don’t drink tap water, so I just bought a bottle. I didn’t have time to ask the staff, though I’m sure they could have pointed me to a solution.

Great spot, just a short walk to Canasvieira and Ingleses beaches, plus a few other nice stretches of sand. I’d definitely stay here again and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a beach base.

The location is spot‑on – right in central Canasvieira, close to markets, pharmacies, restaurants and the main roads, and checking in was smooth. The little kitchen in the room had all the essentials for quick meals and a simple breakfast. Unfortunately the shower stall was missing a proper corner shelf – the one in my room was broken – and I found a cockroach, so pest control could be better.
