The hotel and building were pretty, the staff were always friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed because it ran on conference schedules, but the central location meant plenty of food options even late. The rooms were large enough, the bathroom was in good condition. Everything was quiet despite the location. Breakfast was excellent and even eggs and scrambled eggs were added at the end of service.

“Ok sted og ret tæt på Domkrken”

The breakfast was fine, but there were many guests and it was a bit hard to find a table. The place looks nice but feels a bit odd, more like a training centre than a hotel. The room was icy cold when we arrived and I had to walk around to turn the heat on myself. I don’t understand why the hotel didn’t warm the room a bit before we came even though they knew we were arriving. I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant stayed closed in the evening and afternoon. We paid 42,5 Euro for parking for 2½ days, which I find quite expensive.

The location is central, but the street noise at night is a bit annoying and the breakfast could offer more variety.

“Tolle Unterkunft in Köln”

We really liked the very friendly staff, the generous rooms, the varied breakfast, and the proximity to Cologne’s city centre.
