Unfortunately, our experience was not as pleasant as we had hoped. We were welcomed at arrival, but throughout the stay there were several mistakes and situations that compromised the experience. The listing is quite confusing. We booked a room whose photos appeared to be of the larger accommodation, but when we arrived we realized we would not be staying in the space shown in the listing. I recommend checking carefully when booking and confirming exactly which room you are reserving. The room was well decorated and the kitchen was well equipped, but the space we stayed in had no view and limited ventilation. The reception does not operate 24 hours, and we had an issue with the shower that did not heat – it seemed to be a recurring problem according to other reviews. The cleaning also fell short. Additionally, we found the cost high for what the lodge offers. The location is good, but getting to the lodge is confusing, with many alleys and paths. We struggled to find the place, and even the resident who accompanied us had trouble pinpointing the exact location. Unfortunately, we would not return or recommend the accommodation, despite the good location in Morro de São Paulo.

The location was fine, but the whole place smelled like sewage from the entrance all the way to the exit. The bathrooms had bad toilets and drainage, there was mold in the rooms that made us feel sick, the shower in the triple room never changed temperature, and the linens and pillows had stains.
