Wonderful, surrounded by greenery, an ancient castle that hasn’t been modernised but is original and amazing. Nothing else; it fully met what I wanted. If people are looking for modernity in a castle like this, they’re mistaken.

The breakfast featured homemade jams on pretty dishes, a cloth tablecloth, and was very well cared for. Sleeping in a castle is worth it. The owner took care of a mosquito problem on the first day, so the service was very good. The stairs to the room are a bit steep, but that’s normal in a castle.

All rooms were doubles with en‑suite bathrooms. Breakfast was great. The owner was very friendly. Nothing to add.

We stayed in a family room with a very spacious bathroom and overall large rooms; the pool area looked nice. The breakfast was good and served in a historic setting. However, the property felt like it had a double personality: one side seemed modernized (bathroom, pool house) while the other looked neglected. The kitchenette and fridge in the pool house were unusable, and the stairwell gave the impression of entering a stable.
