“Standard 4 stars german hotel in front of Dome”
The hotel is in a central spot. It’s just adequate—neither bad enough to complain about nor good enough to be memorable. What bothers me is how hospitality now often boils down to a standardized, bare‑minimum service everywhere, with little effort to make guests feel truly welcomed. Housekeeping is a prime example: guests now have to request a clean or opt in for a service that used to be routine. I’m sure it’s all about environmental protection… In the room, there were two vouchers to collect two apples instead of the apples themselves. It’s a small thing, but it says a lot: the gesture is there, yet even that feels one step removed and transactional.
