The accommodation is a small gem! Couples seeking something special, private, and romantic will find it here, and the price is fair. The owners run event gastronomy and host various events, either on site or as catering for clients. On site there are two kitchens on the ground and basement levels, a terrace for celebrations, and a mini‑restaurant (two tables) that can be booked privately (which didn’t happen during our stay). The only lodging is on the upper floor. You get a glimpse of the kitchen work and occasional cooking classes, and of course more during wedding celebrations. Those weddings end around midnight because of the neighborhood, and if you’re lucky—like we were—you’re invited to join the celebration. The host speaks perfect German. The requested breakfast arrives each morning at the desired time via a food elevator straight to the room. We love breakfast and are quite demanding, so we provided a detailed list of what we’d like. We weren’t disappointed—on the contrary! It’s a dream to enjoy such freshly prepared breakfast in undisturbed intimacy on the balcony with a view of Lake Garda. The accommodation itself is designed with great attention to detail and happens to resemble a wedding suite. We were there in early June, with pleasant early‑summer temperatures. Whether the two ceiling fans are enough in midsummer is up to each person—climate control would be missed, as we’re used to it at home. Otherwise, it’s a quiet location without through‑traffic, a private parking lot on the premises (gate with remote), and good pizzerias and restaurants nearby.
The only criticism is the lack of an air‑conditioner (especially in midsummer), the unfortunate lighting solution in the bathroom with motion sensors instead of regular switches, and the noise from the gas stove in the ground‑floor kitchen (though it’s only occasional, not long, and only during normal hours, so it only bothers those who are very noise‑sensitive). This is high‑level criticism that fades in light of the many pleasant aspects of the accommodation and stay.
