The location and surroundings were okay, but the price didn’t match what was offered.
“Es ist ein Quartier im Burghotel - keine Hotelanehmlichkeiten”
I appreciated the peaceful stay, as only a few rooms were occupied, allowing for a restful experience. The key was conveniently located in a box in the garden, making it easily accessible at any time. Although I didn't interact with any staff, I didn't encounter any unfriendly personnel either. However, I did find it inconvenient that the main entrance was closed during my arrival, and I had to enter through a rear door, which made me feel like I was walking through an empty house alone.
Very quiet, perfect for a bike tour, nothing to complain about, and the ride to Blankenstein was thrilling.
This hotel was a great stopover for my Saale River bike path journey, providing a convenient place to rest. Although I was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer breakfast, I was able to find a nearby bakery in the town, which saved the day. Overall, it was a decent option for a quick overnight stay.
