The location was marvelous, offering a spectacular view. Sleeping in a lighthouse felt like a childhood dream come true. Every staff member was excellent, especially Bruno, and the hotel truly embodied the boutique feel of a home. The breakfast was outstanding, the décor was exquisite, and it felt like a dream of a small hotel! Absolutely nothing to criticize!

I arrived at a stunning spot, and Sara at the front desk was an absolute treasure. Bruno also assisted, arranging a massage with Marta, who was simply amazing. Sara guided me on a lighthouse tour that was fantastic, and the restaurant, run by Connie and Adrian, was charming and delightful.

After trekking the Portuguese Camino from Porto, following the coast inland through Tui to Santiago, I returned to the coast for the last two nights at Faro Silleiro hotel near Baiona before flying home from Porto. I treated myself to the jaw‑dropping wonder of this lighthouse hotel, with amazing ocean views, impeccable facilities, wonderful staff, and local restaurant options. The location of this 1.5‑year‑old hotel, a beautifully renovated working lighthouse, is truly magical. Those walking the entire coastal Camino from Porto toward Vigo have a great chance to rest here for two nights and two days—halfway to Santiago, though leaving is not easy! If the hotel‑related Faro Pequeno restaurant at the old lighthouse location is open during your visit—check when you book—it’s a must: the best fish meal in Spain! Nothing to complain about.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, especially the very kind and helpful lady at the reception. The location, an old lighthouse building, was extraordinary. The large pool had plenty of comfortable loungers, and the sea view changed mood throughout the day. Breakfast was very high‑quality. We were guided through the lighthouse and enjoyed a beautiful view from a terrace that is normally inaccessible. Walking to the sister restaurant a few hundred meters away, the friendly hotel bus driver “read us up,” so we arrived on time for our reservation. Thank you! The only downside was that a car was unavoidable to get there.
