“Een fijne, comfortabele plek om op doorreis te overnachten of om een paar dagen te verblijven en de buurt te verkennen.”

Nestled in an 18th‑century manor, Hotel Am Schloss offers garden terrace, free Wi‑Fi, and classic rooms with cable TV, work desk, and sofa. The bright breakfast room serves a daily buffet. Centrally positioned in Alzey’s Old Town, cafés and bars lie within a 5‑minute walk, while the train station is just 1 km away.

The hotel is not far from the old town and is still quiet. If you’re lucky, you can park right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was not worth the price; the croissants were too hard, the boiled eggs were more like hard‑boiled, the fruit salad was cut into too small pieces, and the rooms are only cleaned every two days unless you pay extra.

Old. The outside maintenance is poor.

The hotel sits right in the heart of the city, parking is free, and the staff were very helpful.

The front desk staff were very friendly. The room was clean and my bike was securely locked. The lack of an elevator can make the 2nd floor tiring.
