How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The spot was decent, with plenty of restaurants around, and the place sits inside an old temple structure. But the parking info was bogus – we drove in and found only a motorbike spot, and the street had no space at all. The room was filthy, mold in the bathroom, and the mosquito net smelled and looked dirty.

Summary of this review
The guest house is fantastic, huge, close to the city center and the Kecak Fire Dancing Temple, and the owner and family are super friendly. At night, though, I heard noises from animals on the roof, and sometimes the heating didn’t work well.

The accommodation is very close to the center, and the owners are very kind and try to help as much as possible. The photos didn’t match reality – it was old and dirty, the AC barely worked, and there was a lot of humidity.

Everything was perfect, the location was just outside town but within walking distance, the little guard dogs were amusing, and the family was super friendly. If you’re driving, expect to wait in Ubud traffic! The place feels a bit outdated and basic, but it’s 10/10 for the price 😃.

They have a terrace on every room, the host’s wife and son speak English and are very friendly, and there’s unlimited AC and free Wi‑Fi. Nothing like a dream! I couldn’t rest at all during the whole stay. It’s on a hill, 800 m from the main road, only for Europeans to get an idea: cleanliness level 3, absolute mess, full of ants in the room, an 8‑night stay with no cleaning in room or bathroom, huge kennel of animals (dogs barking all night, squirrels in the attic like horror movies, gaps between doors letting in insects that wake you up in bed).
