“Motel solo nel nome, il posto è super.”
Located in a Filipino cultural center and just a short walk from the best beach in El Nido, Lakwa is more than a motel. The rooms are well‑maintained and spotless, with essential but very functional services. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request. The place is amazing – plus you also have a motorbike to explore the area freely. Wonderful.
“Probably wouldn't book again”
A nice place to stay. Loud music and thumping from above our room until about midnight. The manager made it right and apologized.
The beach is super close, the coffee and breakfast are solid, and the burgers are amazing. If you’re up for it, bike tours are a nice bonus, though I couldn’t stay longer.
“MARAVILLOSO. RECOMENDABLE 100%”
The best accommodation of the whole trip. The staff are super friendly. Great value for money. They let you use a motorbike to get to the center for free. The room is modern, spotless, and the bathroom is perfect. The air conditioning is clean and works wonderfully. They offer appointments within the resort. The day we went, at the time of our flight, they didn’t have airport transport (it’s a 10‑minute walk, no more). But we were caught in a storm at 4:30 am.
“Really enjoyed it overall”
The spot is great—better vibes, cleaner beach, and tastier food than El Nido. The downside was kids running up the school stairs whenever I wanted a daytime nap.
