The location is great and the facilities are good, but it gets extremely loud at night, the air conditioner in the room is dusty, staff randomly enter the room to check belongings, and the pillows are very bad.

The hotel is in the city centre, but the room is very basic with only basic toiletries.

The location and the guests were super lively, which made all the difference in this hostel. I stayed alone in the room almost the whole time, which was fine. I found it strange that there were no glasses or cutlery in the kitchen.

The receptionist and a male staff member were very rude and colluded to remove all of us from the third floor and squeeze many into rooms. They were also exclusive toward people of colour and age, often removing them from the hostel or refusing to admit them. The hostel needs to hire Aboriginals. I’m not an Aboriginal, but the white managers have stereo tapes. The staff were awful.

Bed was comfy,. No one was at lobby for late night check in, even though I had requested it and they said the reception is 24 hours. I had to bang on the door and after 45 minutes someone showed up
