The hotel looks stunning, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, and the morning coffee was tasty! Walking to the city center or catching the tram was a breeze because it was right next to the hotel. It felt like a calm oasis amid the bustle.

The place is magical. We came back for a birthday with my sister and they surprised us with a cake topped with candles and a glass at the end of lunch—truly special. Strange, though, that a little moldy smell rose from the shower drain, but with the air‑conditioning on it wasn’t too noticeable. That’s the only thing that could be improved in such a flawless spot.

An elegant refuge tucked inside the city. The beds were very comfortable. A soaking tub was nice after walking all day. Breakfast was served at the table with an excellent variety of choices, made to order, including a charcuterie plate, homemade granola with yogurt, pastries, fresh fruit, and an egg option.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palacio do Visconde. The setting is very pleasant, plus there’s a garden with a terrace. The room was spacious and well decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant is also excellent (breakfast, brunch, dinner). The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel.
