The staff were friendly, the historic vibe was nice, the grounds were lovely, and the room was comfortable. The surrounding area has become a bit gritty.

After a long Karoo trip, I landed in a spacious, comfortable place with excellent air‑conditioning and proper chairs to sit in. The breakfast spread was very enjoyable, and as a lacto‑vegetarian I had a feast. 😁 However, even though vegan options were listed on the super menu, the dish was clearly neglected by the chef.
