I liked everything; we had an incredible view, the common areas are gorgeous. Hotel Pietro is kind and truly attentive to us. We had an excellent family stay. The beach is a 25‑minute walk, but be careful—good shoes are needed, the path is steep, and don’t be too tired for the climb back up. Driving to the hotel is possible, but I recommend a fairly tall car; ours was a bit low and hit some big stones.

The view from the terrace overlooking the Ligurian Sea and Varigotti amid the olive groves was breathtaking; we enjoyed a lovely coastal hike to Noli and the Cap, highly recommended. The drive over the gravel road was tiring, but manageable in any car, and we were lucky to avoid traffic, otherwise one of the two vehicles would have had to back up to the next niche.

The resort’s setting was superb, and even though the driveway turned out to be trickier than expected, every uneven stone was worth it for the extraordinary garden, the very friendly landlord couple, the tastefully decorated apartments and the stunning view—simply exceptional. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the somewhat challenging approach through the olive groves; the scenery is gorgeous but a bit demanding for a car.

What a wonderful place to stay. We’ve been disappointed at many self‑catering spots for lacking basics like olive oil or seasonings, but Pietro and Francesca have taken care of everything. From the spectacular views to the variety of outdoor seating options, we had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it; we’ll definitely return.
