Hotel An der Karlstadt

It was terrible. The apartment had a strong odor. The linens were washed but old. The corridor smelled awful, even like vinegar. I couldn't sleep at night. Overall, I don't recommend it.

“Jederzeit wieder.”

Very centrally located yet still very quiet. A bus stop right outside the door. The room is simple but completely adequate and clean. The breakfast is excellent. The steep stairs going up are a drawback.

The location is good, the bathroom is large and spacious. In the rooms there was an unbearable smell. The mattresses and pillows were old, the sheets were stained and torn. I couldn't even risk taking breakfast there. The dining area was about 500 meters from our block. It was dirty, with old, grimy tables. I don't know who would eat there with a small child. Only one worker was present, he handled our check‑in, worked at the bar, and I assume he does all the cleaning. He was very rude and upset. We come from Bremerhaven often, but we definitely won't stay here again.

“Ohne hohe Ansprüche für eine Nacht okay.”

The room, bed, and bathroom were clean. It’s close to sights, the city, and the beach. The staff were helpful during breakfast. The Danish dishes were nice. There’s a parking spot at the property. The sleeping area is 300 m from the hotel. There’s a bad smell in the stairwell. The way to the room smells like stale smoke and cold smoke in one of the rooms.

The breakfast is very good. The stairs are steep and the bathroom is very small.
