It was just a bed for the night after a long day. The place feels stuck in the 1970s/early 1980s. The single room is the size of a box, but everything was clean. They could offer breakfast. The general area is pretty drab.

The place was mostly clean and the staff were helpful, but I could have used at least some sachets of coffee, tea, or biscuits.

The shower was the highlight of the room. First, when I arrived I was told they couldn’t process the Clearpay payment, so I had to pay again even though Clearpay had already taken the money from my account. Second, the venue was run down, not very clean, and very noisy because of poor windows. Third, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Fourth, the room was tiny. Fifth, the room smelled musky.

The staff were friendly and the hotel is easy to reach, plus the downstairs bar is a nice bonus; the beds feel comfortable and the bathroom stays clean. However, we booked a double room but the key got misplaced, so we were forced into a twin with the beds pushed together even though we paid extra for a double, and the breakfast was closed when we went downstairs even though it was supposed to be open.

The room was simple and tidy, adequate for a single night since I arrived late and left early, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The only downside was a disco that ran until about 11 pm on a Friday, which was fine for me.
