What a hidden treasure: the scenery was breathtaking and the cottage super comfy, plus the hot tub let us watch the stars at night; the host was excellent at keeping us in the loop. The only caution: if you drive a low‑clearance car, the gravel farm road and the two small water crossings (when they run) can be a bit intimidating—just ask the host to show you the way.

Everything about this gem feels like a slice of paradise, with so much detail to make you feel welcomed and comfortable; I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend the Stairway to Heaven hike for sundowners – I’ll definitely be back.

The remote, beautiful location is a highlight, though it’s far to get to and the rocky road can be a hassle; the hot tub takes a long time to heat, so start it right away.
