Everything at the hotel is good. It’s 900 m from the metro, the room is large for Europe, clean, housekeeping, linen changes, and toiletries are replenished constantly. The room has a hair dryer, iron, electric kettle, dishes, tea, cream, honey, lemon concentrate, and sparkling water – a pleasant bonus. The kitchen in all rooms is fully equipped: fridges, oven, electric stove, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, and a full set of tableware and kitchen utensils. The kitchen opens onto an inner garden with furniture and garden swings, making it enjoyable to have breakfast and dinner outdoors. Even small details like umbrellas for guests are considered. Contacting the hotel for any questions is very quick and easy using the contact listed on the website. The only issue is the steep staircase to the floors, which is inconvenient with a suitcase.
“Residencial”
The kitchen is fantastic, it has a garden, the place is quiet, and it’s clean. If you work near the airport, like we did, or want to visit the city center, you’ll be a bit delayed, but it’s a very quiet residential area.
The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, even featuring a Finnish sauna. The coded entry system for the building and the room suited us well. However, the room felt like a cellar, over‑lit, and only ventilated through an English courtyard accessed from a small garden off the kitchen above the room. Moisture on the walls, dust from old timber caused by long‑term dampness, and the possibility of privacy being breached by garden visitors at the English courtyard disappointed us. The shared kitchen looked unmaintained and dirty.
“A nie je na vyber, da sa.”
The place was clean, odor‑free, and quiet, close to LIDL. Access to the building and room is simple – a personal code, no cards or keys that could be lost. I missed at least a small fridge in the room where I could chill drinks. In the bathroom the “van” is unnecessarily high; I slipped twice, and my feet hit the drain cover. The mattress was very soft for me. For the price you can stay in better equipped hotel rooms – unfortunately the Davis Cup and the PVA exhibition raised the rates and availability.
“Nice set up but you need your own transport.”
I found the place offers good value for money, and the back terrace is pleasant for sun‑bathing. The room was clean and the remote check‑in system worked smoothly. The only downside is that it’s a long walk from the city centre and public transport stops far away; you’ll need a car, Uber, or taxis. Street parking is available but pricey.
