This review is for a hotel that was closed due to life‑threatening defects that were not explained. We were not informed and arrived completely unaware; we were told we would be accommodated elsewhere. A taxi was arranged for us to the Holiday Inn the niu – Coin Frankfurt Ostend, where a room was reserved. The room didn’t fully meet our wishes but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the location was good. We were offered a lower room rate, which, after initial frustration, pleased us. Overall the stay was adequate. The hotel is old but satisfactorily clean; however, the carpet throughout the building is very dirty, full of stains, which lowers the value and makes us unable to recommend it.

“It’s permanently closed!!!”

The hotel was permanently closed and they booked me elsewhere. I ended up staying in the part of town I didn’t want to be in, with zero notice before check‑in; I was only told when I arrived.
