I was welcomed right when I stepped in, and the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room, though labeled non‑smoking, carried a strong smoke odor. The shower wasn’t as clean as I’d expect from a Best Western; the shampoo bottle still had hair in it. The mattress felt old, with a spring poking into my back, which is odd because Best Western beds are usually consistently comfy. The area around the hotel also felt a bit sketchy.

The front desk staff were nice and accommodating. However, the key‑card problem was a nightmare: after a 16‑hour drive I had to return to the office because my card wouldn’t work, then wait 15 minutes behind another exhausted guest. It’s frustrating and inconvenient, especially when the hotel could easily fix it. Please address this.

The room was filthy. When I turned on the hairdryer, sparks flew out of the socket and the bathroom light went out. The room was swarming with flies, the bed felt like concrete, and the coffee maker was covered in hair. The front desk offered no help and moved us to a handicap room that was just as bad. We spoke with a manager the next morning and are now waiting for a refund after that nightmare night. Pay extra for a decent room in Russellville, Arkansas. This place is a hub for drug deals and prostitution rings. Have a nice day.

Breakfast was decent. I booked the room specifically for the outdoor pool, but upon arrival I learned the pool had been closed for 7 years. The website didn’t mention this and showed current pictures of a nice blue pool.
