The atmosphere feels like a blend of old Thai and Chinese culture, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is huge, and the breakfast is delicious with a generous buffet for everyone; there's a lot of bottled water available both in and outside the room. The price is a bit high.

The owner is a classy lady who speaks fluent English and, along with her wonderful secretary, will do everything they can to make you feel good. The hotel offers a luxury car with a driver to take you wherever you want to go. If you want to experience Thai hospitality in a historic building full of history and beautiful antique furniture, this is definitely the place to go. The Thai breakfast is great, and each morning there's something new. It's located 50 meters from the railway station on the Bangkok–Chiang Mai line.

Being the only guest, I received service that felt like royalty. The ground and upper floors display photos of the Crown Princess of Thailand’s 2020 visit. At breakfast, the well-connected owner explained the 74‑year history of the renovated property, built by her Chinese father‑in‑law, in Thai. If you’re interested in Chinese‑Thai history, this is the spot for you. The antique furniture downstairs has ties to Chiang Kai Shek; you can see the nail‑less pieces and photos of the Crown Princess on the beautiful bench, but please don’t touch them. The king‑size bed in Room 4 was firm yet comfortable, with four pillows, nicely scented towels and washcloths (Western style; Thais don’t use washcloths). Breakfast was plentiful, featuring noodles, tofu drink, three types of fresh fruit, Chinese fried doughnut, banana‑leaf‑wrapped brown rice, and tea/coffee. The air conditioning and TV in the room worked well, and the bathroom had nice tiles and a rain shower head.

The building has a high‑class vibe, the location right in front of the station is excellent, and the staff are full of service spirit. No complaints.
