The hotel’s atmosphere is so wild that even deer wander nearby. Free transfer around the lake is great. The shower has good cosmetics and tea in the room. A big TV with YouTube. The lake with a view of Mt. Fuji is not far.

The food was exceptionally tasty; at check‑in we could pick our menu and they even took last orders until 9 pm, which was a big help. The facilities were clean, and the shared lounge stocked with plenty of reading material was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the staff on the day were all foreign and their Japanese and English were limited, so when I tried to leave by car before checkout they kept asking if I’d settled the bill, and my “I haven’t checked out yet” didn’t get through, leaving me waiting for a Japanese‑speaking employee.

Breakfast was tasty and the staff’s personality was soothing. The private bath reservation system worked well and let my tired body rest.
