“No table in the room for over £100 per night. Breakfast was too simple”
The rooms were clean, but they were too small.

The Hyde Park Court Hotel, located on Norfolk Square, is a 2-minute walk from Paddington Station. This hotel features an on-site restaurant serving fine Indian cuisine and a continental breakfast in its pleasant breakfast room. Each tastefully decorated room includes an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, and tea/coffee facilities. Oxford Street and Hyde Park are nearby, with Heathrow Airport and the West End accessible within 15-20 minutes from Paddington Station.

I liked how close the hotel is to Paddington station, and the staff were friendly. But I had to hand my keys back to reception when I checked out, and on my second night the receptionist still asked for my name before giving me the key, which should have been done the first night—maybe a bit more staff training would help. The room was a small single, just big enough for a brief stay, with a bathroom that had only a shower and toilet. As expected on this side of Norfolk Square, the underground trains rattled from about 6 AM to 1 PM the next day.

The service was excellent, the rooms were spotless, breakfast was good, and fresh sheets and towels were changed daily.

Soggiorno davvero piacevole! Posizione ottima a Paddington, in una zona tranquilla a due passi da Hyde Park e dalla metro. Camera pulita e comoda. Personale gentile e check-in veloce. >Unico difetto da segnalare: non c'è ascensore e la scala è stretta e un po' ripida, quindi un po' scomodo con valigie pesanti. Per il resto ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per Londra!

I left the hotel within a few hours because it was filthy, the toilet seat was broken, there was no air circulation, and they gave me a basement floor room that I hadn’t booked. I want my refund back.
