“Charmant hotel met een goede ligging.”
I stayed at this charming, compact hotel just a stone's throw from the station and even closer to Narbonne's center. The room and bathroom were old‑fashioned but nicely decorated, and the reception was friendly, offering clear guidance on local eateries. They really emphasize safety—entry is only possible by calling or entering a code. I appreciated that some of the information was still printed in the room. On the downside, the street smell upon arrival was unavoidable (the hotel can’t do anything about it). There was no kettle in the room, so I couldn’t brew tea. The room lacked air conditioning, but I suspect that would have pushed the price up significantly. Still, the street noise was noticeable (another thing beyond the hotel’s control).
