The spot was gorgeous and the grounds lovely. The hosts were very kind, always checking in on us and making us feel at home—one even ironed a shirt for me and called a nearby café to help us find food after a late arrival. Thanks! We missed the chance to try the on‑site dining (our mistake) and had to leave early the next day, so we skipped breakfast too. Next time we’ll be there longer. When we got there at 6.00 pm on a warm evening, the pool was fully covered for the night, even though it said it was open until 8.00 pm. I didn’t ask if the cover could be taken off; it looked like a heavy‑duty job to unhook and peel everything back.
